How Does the Immobilizer Work?

İt was produced in 1944. This system, which has been made mandatory in countries with a lot of car theft such as the UK and America, is to prevent such incidents. The immobilizer works with a combination of four separate parts. These parts:

 -ECU (Electrical Control Unit)

-Transpoder

-Contact bracelet

-It's an immobilizer box.

How the immobilizer works When you insert the immobilizer box into the key ignition, it establishes a connection with the chip in the key and generates a code by receiving a signal from the transpoder. This code is looked up on the ECU. If the correctness of this code is confirmed, you will be able to start your vehicle.
